Scenic Valley Athletic Association exists to give Iowa athletes a place to compete, develop and belong—supported by coaches, families and neighbors who care.
Our purpose
Helping young athletes go further.
Scenic Valley Athletic Association is a nonprofit supporting youth baseball and fastpitch. We create clear pathways for teams and players, organize meaningful competition and build partnerships that make the experience stronger for everyone.
Our work is grounded in a simple idea: youth sports can teach skills that last long after the final out—resilience, responsibility, teamwork and respect.

Volunteer leadership
Meet the board.
Scenic Valley Athletic Association is governed by a board of 3–9 directors serving two-year terms. Open positions are filled by a vote of the existing board.

Presides over board meetings, serves as the association’s primary spokesperson and casts the deciding vote when required.

Oversees baseball team formation, scheduling, coaching assignments and related operational matters.

Maintains meeting minutes and corporate records and handles association correspondence.
Brad Vote
Maintains financial records, prepares financial reports for the board and oversees association funds.

Supports association governance, programs and the needs of Scenic Valley athletes and families.

Supports association governance, programs and the needs of Scenic Valley athletes and families.

Youth safety
A safe place to play and grow.
The well-being of every athlete comes first. Scenic Valley AA maintains screening, conduct and reporting standards for the adults and families involved in our programs.
Prepared volunteers
Coaches and volunteers with regular access to minors are subject to appropriate background screening and credentialing requirements.
Respect at every level
Players, parents, coaches and volunteers are expected to follow association conduct standards that promote safety, sportsmanship and respect.
