More ways to play, grow and belong. Scenic Valley Athletic Association supports competitive baseball opportunities that add to a player’s local recreational season. We currently support one 11U team and welcome interest from players, coaches and teams at other ages.
Iowa travel baseball
Travel baseball that complements community play.
Scenic Valley is building an inclusive travel baseball club for Boone County and surrounding communities. Our goal is to create additional opportunities for athletes who want more practices and competition without asking them to leave their hometown teammates behind.
We encourage players to participate in their local Little League or recreational program whenever possible. Travel baseball should be an added opportunity—not a replacement for the community programs that introduce athletes to the game and bring neighbors together.
Scenic Valley teams can prepare for USSSA baseball events and other appropriate Iowa travel ball opportunities based on each roster’s age, experience and season goals. Event participation and classification may vary by team and season.
Families outside Boone County are welcome to contact us. Team placement depends on age, coach availability, roster needs and whether Scenic Valley is the right fit for everyone involved.
