Scenic Valley Athletic Association is building an inclusive Iowa travel baseball and softball organization designed to add opportunity without asking athletes to leave their local recreational community behind.
Our difference
More opportunities—not an either-or choice.
Travel competition can give athletes additional practices, coaching and tournament experiences. Local Little League and recreational programs give young players a place to learn the game, play with hometown friends and strengthen community connections. Scenic Valley believes those experiences can support one another.
Whenever schedules and local rules allow, we encourage Scenic Valley athletes to remain involved in their community programs while adding travel baseball or travel softball opportunities that fit their goals.
That approach is central to who we are. Scenic Valley is not trying to replace local recreation or make travel ball feel available only to an exclusive few.

Scenic Valley currently supports one 11U baseball team. Additional teams will grow around committed coaches, genuine player interest and a responsible plan for families.

Founded in Boone County.
Scenic Valley was founded by Boone County residents and remains grounded in the needs of this community. That foundation is not a geographic boundary. Athletes, coaches and teams from surrounding Iowa communities are welcome to reach out when the organization’s approach is a good fit.
Our goal is to build lasting relationships, clear expectations and positive experiences—not draw an arbitrary line around who may belong.
